Beyond Blues offers a variety of material appropriate for people who have never danced before, people who have been dancing for years, and everyone in between. You can choose your format: private lessons, weekly group classes, one-day workshops, and even a multi-day blues dance camp: Camp Blues.

Solo Cutting Competition at FNB, 1/27 We have national passes to several amazing events, national and international instructors judging, and it's free. What more reason could you want to compete in our first ever solo cutting competition. This Friday, Jan 27th, at Friday Night Blues.

Prizes for the Solo Comp It's quite a list: Mile High Blues (Denver), Burning River Blues (Cleveland), Portland Blues Experience, Blues Recess Gender Bender Workshop (Portland), Lost Valley Blues Recess (Oregon), and I've Got the Blues... and Then Some (SF).

It's January and the gem of the month is Ruby Last two chances to catch her are FNB this Friday, where she'll be teaching and judging the solo comp, and Shades of Blues Monday 1/31, where she'll be teaching an intermediate class with Ted.
