Frequently Asked Questions

What is the warehouse?
Mihai and Andrew live in a big warehouse converted into a 5-bedroom house in downtown Sacramento. This has been a party house and residence of traveling dancers for about 10 years. We get to rent it cheaply for events like Built For Blues because our roommate Dan supports the dance scene.

What are the sleeping accomodations?
Everybody will have a bed, futon or air mattress.

Is there a shower?
We have one shower, which has worked with a shower schedule for up to 18 people in past events. Since registration is picking up, we are working on adding a second shower with an inline heater, so we never run out of hot water.

Do you accomodate special needs for food?
We can take care of vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets. If you have more specific needs, please contact us.

Are people commuting between Sacramento and San Francisco?
We expect Bay Area people to get themselves to Sacramento by Thursday morning, probably by driving, and stay at the warehouse through the camp.

Is transportation provided to SF from Sacramento in the middle of the camp?
We will travel as a group to SF by train on Friday and back to Sacramento on Saturday. We will have a discussion/class on the train if we can get our own car. Mihai is working to make the price of a round trip ticket $25 for each person (instead of $42), subsidizing it if Amtrak refuses to help much. People can always choose to drive instead if they need/want to.

Where is the dance party on New Year's Eve?
Kermit is hosting a party in San Francisco, and we're all invited!
