Purpose... The Blues Welcome Workshop will offer fundamentals instruction every month in a compressed format, so that new dancers who want to join our community can do so more quickly and comfortably in a single weekend afternoon. Think of it like a 4 week series taught in one day.
We are now offering Welcome to Tango and Welcome to Fusion workshops, designed with the same ideas in mind.

Topics covered will include connection, musicality, body flight and swing, drive, body alignments (natural, counter, and contra), pivots, turn technique, embrace, frame changes, and blues vocabulary, for close and/or open embrace.

What You Need To Know
Schedule: 3 hours of class with two short breaks
Location: Back Room Studio, 1072A Folsom Street, San Francisco CA 94103
Parking: Street parking easily available on weeknights/weekends
No partner needed, all ages welcome
Wear comfortable shoes (if you wear heels, bring another pair)
No experience needed; this is a workshop for beginners
